• User Content: User Content: Generated comics are temporarily stored on our servers for 7 days, then automatically deleted. Your original thoughts and personal content are never stored on our servers—they remain exclusively on your device and in your personal Google Drive.
• Usage Data: Usage Data: Interactions with the app, including feature usage and preferences.
• Device Information: Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Location Data: Location Data: If you grant permission, we may collect your device's approximate or precise location to just automatically identify your place when writing a thought and fetching your country code during onboarding. We never collect or store your location data. And the app do not use your location for any other purpose.
• Contacts Access: Contacts Access: If you grant permission, we may access your contacts to help you invite friends, sync contacts, or suggest connections. Contact data is never stored on our servers.
• SMS Access: SMS Access: If you grant permission, the app may read incoming SMS solely to automatically detect one-time passwords (OTPs) during sign-up or login. We do not store or share the content of your messages.
• Camera Access: Camera Access: If you grant permission, we may access your device's camera to enable features such as photo capture only for setting up profile photo and making a thought. No camera data is collected without your explicit consent.
• Gallery Access: Gallery Access: If you grant permission, we may access your device's gallery to enable features such as image picker only for setting up profile photo and making a thought. No gallery data is collected without your explicit consent.
• Microphone Access: Microphone Access: If you grant permission, we may access your device's microphone for recording only when you are making thoughts. Audio is not recorded without your approval.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Improve our app's functionality and user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

Storage: Storage: All data that the app creates is first saved locally on your device as end-to-end encrypted files that only the app can read. If you enable sync, an identical encrypted copy is uploaded to your own Google Drive. Because the encryption keys never leave your device, only you can decrypt this data—neither our team nor Google can view its contents. The app will ask for login with Google and Drive permissions only when you enable sync.

  1. Go to the Weave app.
  2. Open the Settings page.
  3. Click on the Delete Account option and follow the on-screen instructions.
• What Will Be Deleted: What Will Be Deleted: All personal information and data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our database. We do not retain or store any of your information after account deletion.
• Retention Period: Retention Period: There is no additional retention period. Deletion is immediate upon your request and confirmation.
