1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Weave application ("App"), operated by My Clone INC, registered under EIN 99-2752276 headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil ("we", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

To use the App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide truthful information during registration

Age verification is performed through the date of birth provided during registration. Fraudulent attempts to bypass age verification, including use of false identification, may result in account termination and storage of device identifiers to prevent re-registration.

3. Service Description

Weave is a hyperlocal platform that allows you to:

  • Discover events, parties, cultural activities, bars, and restaurants in Belo Horizonte
  • Participate in seasonal challenges, voting, and themed campaigns that may be offered within the App from time to time
  • Create and publish public and private events
  • Invite contacts to events and receive attendance confirmation updates
  • Create comics from photos using artificial intelligence
  • Connect with people through Xaveco (matching)
  • Exchange messages in Xaveco Chat
  • Publish comics and photos in the public Feed and in events
  • Discover places (bars, venues, restaurants) and track visits
  • Follow other users to stay updated on their activity
  • Share content to a public feed and interact with posts through likes
  • Block users you no longer wish to interact with
  • Report users or content that violates community guidelines
  • Submit feedback directly within the app using shake-to-report
  • Add external links to your profile
  • Back up your data to iCloud or Google Drive
  • Record audio thoughts and convert speech to text for personal journaling

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

Registration is done via phone number with OTP verification via SMS. You must keep your information up to date.

4.2 Profile

Your profile includes display name, @username, photo, bio, badges, and profile links. You are responsible for your profile content and must ensure it does not violate third-party rights.

4.3 Security

You are responsible for your account security. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You may enable biometric authentication (such as Face ID or fingerprint) to secure access to the App. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. User Content

5.1 Comics

When creating a comic, you upload photos that are processed by AI. You warrant that you have the right to use the uploaded photos. When publishing to the public Feed, you grant Weave a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display the content within the App. When you opt to include the original photo, it will also be visible in the public Feed and profile. In the private Diary, the comic and original photo are visible only to you.

5.2 Events

When creating an event, you are solely responsible for its content, organization, and execution. Weave is not a co-organizer and is not responsible for user-created events. Events can be public (visible to all users) or private (visible only to invitees). You can change event visibility at any time.

5.3 Content License

You retain ownership of the content you create. By publishing content in the App, you grant Weave a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote the content within the App.

5.4 Automated Content Filtering

Content entered in the App — including text (captions, descriptions, messages, bios) and visuals (photos and images) — may be analyzed by automated systems and AI tools to detect violations of these Terms and our Community Guidelines. The scope and methods of automated moderation may evolve over time. Content that violates our guidelines may be blocked or removed.

5.5 Prohibited Content

You may not publish or send content that:

  • Is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or offensive
  • Contains hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, or disability
  • Contains harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Violates third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains spam, unauthorized advertising, or misleading content
  • Exposes third-party personal data without consent
  • Contains photos or images of other people without their consent
  • Promotes illegal activities, illicit drugs, or violence
  • Is directed at minors or contains content inappropriate for minors

6. Xaveco (Connections)

Xaveco allows attendees of the same event to connect. Rules:

  • Xaveco is blind until mutual match: you don't know who sent you a xaveco, and the other person doesn't know you sent them one, until interest is mutual
  • Xavecos are intended to remain active for up to 30 days after the event. We reserve the right to adjust this period.
  • Chat is text-only
  • All messages are automatically filtered by AI for safety
  • Weave does not guarantee the identity, intentions, or behavior of other users
  • You can report or block any user at any time
  • Messages may be retained for a period after the match active period ends and will be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.

7. Third-Party Events and Content

7.1 Events from third-party platforms

Weave displays public event information from third-party platforms. Regarding these events:

  • Weave does not sell tickets. The ticket button redirects to the official sales platform.
  • Weave does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or currency of third-party event information.
  • Weave is not responsible for issues related to ticket purchases, cancellations, or changes by third parties.
  • The event source is always indicated in the App.
  • Weave has no contractual relationship with third-party platforms, unless a specific formal agreement exists.
  • When redirected to a third-party platform, you will be subject to that platform's terms of use and privacy policy.

7.2 User-created events

Weave allows users to create events. Weave is not the organizer and is not responsible for the content, execution, or issues arising from user events.

8. User Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use the App lawfully and respectfully
  • Not create fake or multiple accounts
  • Not attempt to bypass moderation or security systems
  • Not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
  • Not harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Not send unsolicited content or spam
  • Report content or behavior that violates these Terms

9. Moderation and Penalties

Weave reserves the right to, at its sole discretion:

  • Automatically filter and block text and visual content that violates our guidelines
  • Remove content (comics, events, messages) that violates these Terms
  • Issue warnings to users
  • Temporarily suspend accounts (7 days)
  • Permanently terminate accounts in severe cases
  • Store device identifiers and phone numbers of banned users to prevent re-registration

9.1 Appeals and Dispute Resolution

If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at admin@mycl.one within 15 days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe. This does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Reports are handled by severity: reports involving minors and threats are reviewed with highest priority. Severe harassment reports are prioritized for expedited review.

10. Intellectual Property

The Weave App, including its design, code, brand, mascot (Jão), logo, visual identity, and original content are the property of My Clone INC and protected by Brazilian and American intellectual property laws and international treaties. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without express written authorization. Trademark registration proceedings are in progress where applicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

Weave is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service availability
  • Accuracy of third-party event information
  • Accuracy of user-created event information
  • The identity, behavior, or intentions of other users
  • Safety in in-person meetings originating from App connections
  • The quality, result, or accuracy of AI-generated comics
  • The effectiveness of automated content filtering systems

Weave is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Account and Data Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • Your profile, comics, and personal data will be removed
  • Xaveco Chat messages will be deleted
  • Events you created may remain visible with "deleted user" indication

13. Business Accounts

Weave may offer business accounts for establishments (bars, restaurants, venues). Specific features and additional terms for business accounts will be communicated separately.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, you will be notified via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The competent forum for any disputes is the District of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.

Appendix A — End User License Agreement (EULA)

A.1 License

My Clone INC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Weave App on a device you own, for personal and non-commercial use.

A.2 Restrictions

You may not: reverse engineer the App; copy or distribute the App; sublicense or transfer the license; use the App for commercial purposes without authorization.

A.3 AI-generated content

Comics generated by the App use artificial intelligence. Results may vary and we do not guarantee accuracy, quality, or suitability. All content (text and visual) is automatically filtered by AI systems for safety.

A.4 International transfer

For comic generation and text/visual content filtering, photos and data may be processed by AI providers located outside Brazil. By using this feature, you consent to this transfer as described in the Privacy Policy.

A.5 Third-party liability (Apple/Google)

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not party to this agreement and have no obligation to provide maintenance, support, warranty, or indemnification regarding the App.

A.6 Termination

This license terminates if you violate these Terms or uninstall the App.

A.7 Future features

New features may be introduced and will be subject to these Terms and additional terms when applicable.

A.8 In-App Purchases

The App may offer in-app purchases or premium features. All payments are processed through the platform's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not directly process or store payment information. Refund policies are governed by the respective app store's terms.
